Century Steel is a drug and alcohol-free company. Our employees are required to participate in industry drug and alcohol testing programs. These programs require annual, random, for cause and post- accident testing. We also require employees to comply with the substance testing programs of our customers and clients.
At Century Steel we believe a project is not completed successfully unless it’s completed safely. The most important aspect of any effective safety program is a sincere commitment by top management. Our owners and management have made it clear to employees and clients alike that safety takes precedence in every project we undertake. Their dedication is evident in many ways, including the continued growth of our organization’s full-time safety staff and a large investment in training and safety equipment. This commitment to safety extends to every corner of the organization through our Safety Policies, which help to define tangible safety actions for every employee.

Century Steel has instituted various safety policies and programs that, in many cases, exceed applicable local, state and federal requirements for jobsite safety, including OSHA. In addition, Century Steel has created a work environment in which all employees are aware of the importance of safety and are encouraged to actively participate in making their working conditions safer and more productive.
The success of our safety efforts has been recognized time and time again from Industry Associations and Unions. We have been the recipients of numerous Safety Awards for our work in the commercial, bridge and industrial markets.
